In our engaging with Africa’s next leaders, it’s clear that many are going through a period of transition.

Many graduated recently and are looking for a job or managing life in the market place.  Some were recently promoted, some fired, others are changing jobs while others are quitting – or contemplating quitting – to join a new employer or start a new business.  Many others are managing complex relationships: some are entering marriage while others are going through or have gone through a divorce.

GILGAL – which was born in the intersection of Media and Development – has been forced to go through its own transition to respond to the demands Africa’s next leaders face.

Our vision to create Africa’s next leaders, one book at a time remains.  We remain committed to our mission to produce leadership books that can be read in a few hours and offer ideas on how to live a rich life and contribute to making a better world.  However, we have decided to harness our expertise and vast networks to respond to the urgent needs of our audience.

We believe transitions – to a company like GILGAL, and our audience – are times of opportunities, a chance to start afresh and make needed changes.  During periods of transition, leadership is required to create a new future, a future which, if not created, will not happen on its own.  As we create GILGAL’s future, we want to help you create yours…
